Effective Relationships

As part of the IBM On Demand Community programmes, where IBM staff are encouraged to go volunteer in the community, we run another workshop at Marwell Zoo this year following on from two previous successful workshops. (Creative meetings last year and Presentation Skills in 2006).

This year our workshop was around the theme of effective working relationships and covered the topics of team dynamics, negotiation skills and giving and receiving feedback.  We combined discussion topics with practical exercises and a chance for the staff to try out some of the techniques.

Once again the workshop feedback seemed very postive and it was nice to know our time was well spent.

After lunch we got a chance to go feed the lemurs.  The ring tailed lemurs we were supposed to be meeting decided to have the day off and hid inside their house, so instead we got to feed a couple of the red ruffed lemurs.

More photographs from the workshop and lemur feed can be found here.
